A Legacy of Learning-through Planned Giving

The Legacy Circle Award is presented to those who have established a planned estate gift with the Danville Public School Foundation.

The Danville Public School Foundation’s Juilius W. Hegeler II Legacy Circle recognizes those donors who have included the Foundation in their estate plan through a planned gift.  When you include the Foundation in your estate plan , your legacy gift will play an important part in ensuring the long-term stability of the Foundation.

Legacy gifts come in all sizes.  Each gift, regardless of the amount or value,  play a vital role in supporting the Foundation’s mission of providing enhanced educational opportunities for the children attending Danville Public Schools for generations to come.

Legacy gifts may include a bequest in your Will or Living Trust consisting of a gift of cash, real estate,  farmland, or stocks.  In may also include life insurance where the Foundation has been designated as beneficiary.

The Legacy Circle was named in honor of Juilus W. Hegeler II in recognition of his commitment of a planned estate gift of $1,000,000. Mr. Hegeler is receiving the first Legacy Circle Award from Charles Hall (left) President of the Danville Public School Foundation and Bob Richard (right) its Executive Director.

We recommend speaking with an attorney or financial planner when planning your estate gift.  Once your plan is complete, please let us know that you have included the Danville Public School Foundation in your estate plan.  We will recognize your generosity by presenting you with a Legacy Circle award.
