Challenging times seem to be facing us in every direction.  Our schools are facing these same challenging times.  As a former teacher (including 30 years with District No. 118), I am always amazed at the creative, educational opportunities that Danville teachers provide for their students.  Because of budget concerns, the money is not always available for many of these worthwhile projects. Often these are the very activities that students will learn from and take with them.  How great to have the Danville Public School Foundation step up to fill that void.  Schools are so much more than brick and mortar. Learning is a lifelong process and the seeds for that process are planted by our schools.

Take time to “walk the halls” at DHS.  The pictures show our history and our memories.  The foundation helps to ensure that future hallwalkers will share in those same rewarding experiences. It deserves our support.”
